Ciao! Today our group has an optional trip to the beach. All the optional things i’ve decided to take advantage of because I don’t want to miss out. To get to the beach we took the tram to the train station. It only costs four euro for a train ticket so it is very convenient to get there. My friends and I ended up having to run through the station to catch the train.
The train was two stories and your ears get plugged/ pop a lot on it. It had many stops and took probably 30min to get there.
The beach was unreal. I felt like I was in a movie. The sea was very shallow and sandy so you could walk out really far.

We got pretty bad pizza for lunch, but I was so hungry I basically ate the whole thing. The beach we went to was Santa Marinella. It is a beautiful beach, but doesn’t have too much to the town.

We took the train back and it was SO CROWDED. I had to stand the whole way and this Italian lady was rubbing her hair on me the whole way and pushing me further into the corner. There is definitely a cultural space difference.
I got back and was exhausted so I just made some bruschetta and chilled for the night. Now that it is the second week I am trying to spend a lot less money and cook my own food.
